First speech

The Lapland of Finland lives with tourism. The tourism season is starting in November and it is the highest from February till the end of April. People come here to work during the season and enjoy the life at the hill. And the point is to work a lot. For the locals this is the time to make money for the whole year!

Ylläs is one of the most popular hills in Finland and it has a big sking resort and two villages at the both sides of the hill. I am living at the other side at the village called Äkäslompolo. Äkäslompolo has only 400 inhabitans permanently and I can only guess how much higher it gets during the seasons! Even the village is small it has many restaurants and activities for tourist to enjoy the holiday and Lapland culture.
